The emphasis in all groups will be on a different aspects of the dance technique, steps, variations style and balance and will include but not limited to 10 Ballroom International style ballroom dances. They will include: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, V.Waltz, Quickstep, Samba, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Pasodoble and Jive. The other popular dances will be also a part of a program. Such as Salsa/Mambo, Swing, Hustle, etc
BEST VALUE! CLASS 1 Basic to Intermediate level (starting January 29/2010)
Time: Friday 7:00 Pm- 8:00Pm Followed by Free 1:30 Practice Party (for class participants).
Group Class: Ballroom /Latin American Figures and Technique, basic steps and variations, various dance position and holds, style and fundamentals development.
Key Subjects: Ballroom and Latin American fundamentals developments, intermediate steps and variations, lead/follow, introduction to style and balance, dance position development and couple interaction.
Cost: $10 at the door, $60 for 8 groups per person. Cash or check. Free Party for class participants or 5$ if you just join the practice session. Any level can addend Friday practice.
CLASS 2 Intermediate to Advanced level (starting January 30/2010)
Time: Saturday 12:00 Pm- 1:30Pm with 30 min (included) supervised practice session.
Group Class: International Ballroom /Latin American Technique and Style.
Key Subjects: Advance technique, steps and variations, lead/follow, musicality, floor craft, detailing, personal style and individuality, Q&A, competitive dancing, the future.
Cost: $10 at the door, $60 for 8 groups per person. Cash or check.

For all classes you must wear dance shoes or change, comfortable wear. Casual and jeans are OK.

Free Indoor parking is on Pensilvania Ave and outdoor parking is across Tivolli Theater.

Intermediate/Advance Technique class on Sunday afternoon starts Fabruary 15, 2009.
In a last 10 -15 years ballroom dancing have changed and developed. What makes it so different and powerful today? Fundamentals, technique and quality are the most important aspects of today's ballroom dancing. Join this class and uncover all secrets, learn the latest trends and concepts, technique and style in International Ballroom and Latin American dancing.
Time: Sunday 1:00 Pm- 2:30Pm. ( or 1:30 – 3:00 PM)
Group Class: Intermediate to Advanced International Ballroom /Latin American Technique.
What to wear: dance shoes a MUST, comfortable wear (jeans are OK)

The 2008 Heart of America Championships (HOA) in Kansas city is over. With over 7000 entries this is by far the biggest competition in Kansas. I'd like to thank all participants and organizers LeRoy & Ginny Walters for making this event so enjoyable and the most important to the my students who where participating in this event: Jane Campbell, John Fritz and Ann Jones. You did an incredible job dancing. Thank you and get ready for the next year ! -)

Sunday group class will take off in September 7 or 14 2008. It's an 8 week /2 hour course/ 16 hours total. It's a ballroom variety class with emphasis on technical aspects of a dance and leading and following. Basic knowledge in ballroom dancing is required but not necessary. There will be no more than 12 people in a class. Spaces are very limited. For information/prices please call Sergei at 913-963-3855.

Heritage Center at the Jewish Community Center classes are ongoing and are taught every Wednesday from 6:00 PM till 7:00 Pm. This is a 8 week course.
